Once your name is on the electoral roll, this is the kind of commercial application it gets sold to. Claiming to be the most comprehensive and powerful people finder on the market, this is a searchable database of 32m names and addresses, plus 15m telephone numbers. That means all the UKΓÇÖs 394,304 Smiths, 305,200 Joneses and nearly everyone else besides. The frames-based design cramps the text, and navigation is far from explicit, but you can refine your search to see who lives in the same house, and who the neighbours are. There is also a map to pinpoint addresses and plot routes between postcodes, but since some error means it labels Edinburgh as Glasgow, proceed with caution.
